As IVUmed’s first training site in 1992, our partner surgeons in Honduras have advanced past basic IVUmed trainings. They have built a dynamic urology program capable of performing common pediatric surgeries. They now organize their own annual urology training outreach programs, assisted by IVUmed volunteer specialists who focus on teaching more complex surgeries and techniques.
