IVUmed Supporters,

Over the past three years, I’ve loved serving as IVUmed’s Program Director. It has been such a privilege watching our organization expand and excel during my tenure. From leading 25 in-person workshops per year to nurturing a comprehensive and ongoing virtual lecture series during the pandemic, there seems to be no limit to the generosity and tenacity of our supporters and colleagues. I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to our IVUmed community. You are the reason for our success.

I’m excited to announce that I’m starting law school at the University of California Davis later this month. My last day at IVUmed will be August 6, 2021. This will be my first step towards a career practicing human rights law.

We’ve found an excellent person, Ashley Van Loozen, to take over as IVU’s Program Director. Ashley is a certified Physician Assistant and received a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2014. She has specialized in preventative cardiology, pediatric urology, and now practices geriatric medicine part-time. I have no doubt that she will thrive in this position and continue to nurture and grow IVUmed’s program offerings.

I feel such gratitude for the connections I’ve made over the past many months with some of the most brilliant, kind, and determined people I have ever met. Thank you for your incredible and ongoing support of IVUmed’s work.

Sincerely,

Katie Crawford
