Understanding that some of our patients had arrived in Kingston from all over Jamaica just to have the possibility of being treated by a specialist helped us forget any fatigue we may have had from our long operative days. The operations we performed during our time there were an integral part of my urological training, and by far were some of the most rewarding. However, it was the love, caring and hospitality of our host Jamaican team that I will cherish the most. I am forever thankful for the opportunity IVU gave me. It was an experience of a lifetime.
