Our dedicated volunteers provide intensive hands-on surgical training to doctors and nurses in teaching hospitals worldwide. IVU surgical workshops typically span six days with added days for travel.

We provide scholarships that enable surgical trainees to participate in our global programs. Residents and fellows can join IVU teams and gain unique training experiences.

Want to share your skills but can’t travel? Volunteers can make an impact by providing remote lectures to our global partners. Our Virtual Visiting Professors play a key role in IVU’s global surgical education programs.
