We are very grateful for your continued support, volunteerism, and involvement with IVU through the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to promote the safety of our volunteers and global partners, our in-person workshops are currently on hold. As soon as vaccines are widely distributed globally and we’re certain that in-person programming is safe, we’ll pick up where we left off with our signature training workshops.
In the meantime, we’ve embraced virtual learning and chosen to see these challenges as opportunities. We created a Virtual Visiting Professor lecture series that partners with hospitals in more than 12 countries and reaches hundreds of providers around the globe. All of our virtual lectures are available online and can be accessed through our Virtual Lecture Archive. Our increased online presence has proven invaluable and will continue even after we’re able to travel again.
We’re thrilled that we’ve created and fostered a Global Consult Program and research mentorship opportunities. These programs offer peer-to-peer support on complex cases and research projects.
