IVUmed collects medical supplies for both surgical workshops with its international partners and for donation to those same partners following the workshop. One way IVUmed Traveling Resident Scholars and other volunteers can help IVUmed is by collecting certain medical supplies and either shipping them to IVUmed, or bringing them with you if you are participating on an IVUmed organized trip. Below we have provided a brief list of supplies that IVUmed needs on an ongoing basis. Please note that for our programs we are unable to use expired items, so please double check the expiration dates. Also, to ensure the efficient use of the collected medical supplies, please coordinate efforts with IVUmed staff who can provide further direction.
