Peter Steelman's Chicago Marathon Fundraiser
Dear Friends,
I discovered IVUmed five years ago and have been privileged to be an IVUmed board member for the past few years. IVUmed and its many volunteers have changed lives around the world. IVUmed is a truly unique organization founded to make quality urological care available to people worldwide.
Three years ago, I ran my first marathon in Chicago and dedicated it to IVUmed and raised over $5,200 to support its programs. On Sunday, October 11, 2009 I will run the 26.2 miles again in Chicago and would like to use this opportunity to expand awareness of IVUmed's invaluable programs and raise funds to support its mission. I would like to double the contribution that was generated by my friends and family three years ago. Please help me raise $10,000. This would provide the funding needed for an entire surgical workshop in which up to 100 children will receive the life-changing care they so deperately need.
